A H1N1 @ Swine Flu

With the on-going H1N1 @ swine flu virus, we, at Cookie Box wants to highlight what H1N1 is all about and what are the useful tips that will ensure the virus doesn't spread needlessly.

Tip #1 - Stay at home if you're sick
Tip #2 - Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Tip #3 - Wash your hands often & avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
Tip #4 - Cover your mouth or nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing
Tip #5 - Keep up with health information
Tip #6 - Drink lots of water
Tip #7 - Eat plenty of fruits


While we need to take care of yourselves, we need to educate the children on how to prevent from getting the flu. While children are more active & robust interacting with friends in school, tuition classes, extra curriculums, etc - the best & easier way for them is to wear a breatheable mask & wash their hands frequently.

Since we have children of our own, we managed to get 100% cloth masks for them. The disposable masks are good for short term basis ie. used masks have to be thrown every day. It cannot be recycled as the used masks are equally harmful.

Because the cloth masks can be washed daily, the children were delighted to have cute & fun masks to wear any day & anytime.

Akemi Fashion Show @ Tropicana City Mall

Our cupcakes were served at the recent Akemi Fashion Show at Tropicana City Mall. The best part of the fashion show was the models use bedsheet as their fashion. Yes, bedsheets! From solid colours to prints to Japanese characters like Hello Kitty and My Melody, it was really interesting.

And of course, our cupcakes were the prettiest pastries on the table (ahem!).

Our First Day at Tropicana City Mall

Our first day at Tropicana City was exciting and fun for us. Meeting so many new peoples that was curious about us. A big THANK YOU to those who supported us and for giving us a chance by buying the cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and enjoying the delicious chocolate fondue.

I bought a new Canon compact camera yesterday. I took the opportunity to dabble & test the functions and I got to say, it's pretty good especially the 'digital marco' function. Here are some of the pictures taken with this camera.
